Corrosion in metal infrastructures has a great impact in our daily life, and obviously in the global economy.
One of the most used strategies to protect metal surfaces in high performance applications is the application of protective polymeric coatings. The use of waterborne polymeric coatings instead of their counterpart solventborne ones, contributes to decreasing environmental pollution and the risks for health and safety associated with the use of solvents in the last ones.
